July 2, 2018 – Ecclesiastes 1:2

  The Church of Almighty God,God’s work,God’s will,truth,salvation

Vanity of vanities, said the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

– Ecclesiastes 1:2

  Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

This verse tells us that our pursuits in life, such as fame and fortune, status, money and fleshly enjoyments, are all vanity and meaninglessness because we do not bring when we are born and we do not take when we die. We cannot help but ask ourselves: If all is vanity, then why do we live? How to live can get rid of vanity? At this moment, a passage of God’s words struck me, “For without the guidance of God, no matter how much rulers and sociologists wrack their brains to preserve human civilization, it is to no avail. No one can fill the emptiness in man’s heart, for no one can be the life of man, and no social theory can free man from the emptiness with which he is afflicted. … Man, after all, is man. The position and life of God cannot be replaced by any man. Mankind does not just require a fair society in which everyone is well-fed and is equal and free, but the salvation of God and His provision of life to them. Only when man receives the salvation of God and His provision of life to them can the needs, yearning to explore, and spiritual emptiness of man be resolved.” From these words we can see that only when mankind accept God’s provision of life to them, seek to know Him, and gain the truth can they solve emptiness. Thanks for God’s guidance!

Questions and Answers on Being Saved and Being Finally Saved (2)

Question 2: It is said in the Bible, “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifies. Who is he that condemns?” (Rom 8:33-34). This proves that the Lord Jesus’ crucifixion on the cross forgives us of all sin. The Lord doesn’t see us as sinners anymore. Who can accuse us now?

kingdom,Gospel,The Church of Almighty God,prayer,Christian Answer: “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect?” Here, we must be very clear. Who, exactly, are members of God’s elect? Those frequent sinners, they who sell out the Lord and their friends, they who eat God’s sacrificial offerings, they who blaspheme, those corrupted, hypocritical Pharisees, are they God’s elect? If anyone that believes in God is part of God’s elect, then how do we explain what the prophecies say, “For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie” (Rev 22:15). Therefore, not all people that believe in God are part of God’s elect. Only those who really serve the Lord and love God, those that bear witness to Him are part of God’s elect. People like Abraham, Job and Peter obey God and revere God. They were righteous people and witnesses. What they did obtained God’s grace. No one could control them. When did God say that all the faithful were righteous? The majority of people often sin, resist God and betray God. That is a fact. Lord Jesus never said the majority of believers were righteous. Therefore, the people God is talking about include the righteous people that can implement God’s will.

God Gives All His Love to Mankind

gospel,God’s love,worship,The Church of Almighty God,Christ

Upon those farmers of Canaan
who welcome God’s return,
He bestows His good fruits
and wishes only for heavens
and man to last forever,
and man to last forever.
God wishes man and the heavens
to be at rest eternally.
He wishes the evergreen pines
to be with Him forever
and stride (oh and stride)
into the ideal age (into the ideal age),
and stride (oh and stride)
into the ideal age.
Without a word, God toils hard
to plow this beautiful land.
For tomorrow to come
as a more beautiful day,
God toils with love for man. Continue reading

July 1, 2018 – Mark 12:30

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment.

– Mark 12:30

and you shall love the lord your god with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength this is the first commandment.

  Thoughts on Today’s Verse…

From this verse I understand that if we wish to love God, our hearts should face God in word and deed, and we should give our hearts to Him and satisfy Him in all things.

However, if we abandon other things and expend ourselves for the Lord, work very hard in exchange of the blessings of the kingdom of heaven instead of loving God, then no matter how much we pay, we won’t gain the Lord’s praise, for God doesn’t not praise such impure and transactional efforts. For example, we always listen to sermons, have gatherings, spread the gospel, sustain and help brothers and sisters, and try our best to follow the Lord’s teachings, but most of the time, we do all these for a good destination, for our personal interests.
