The coming of the Lord Jesus Christ ends the Israelites’ enslavement to sin, no longer do they face the danger of being condemned or put to death because of failing to keep to the law. Because of the Lord Jesus’ sin offering, their sins are forgiven and their living conditions are completely changed.
Because of the Lord Jesus’ sin offering, their sins are forgiven, their living conditions are radically changed, and as a result, the people of Israel no longer live under the law, but under the sin offering brought by the Lord Jesus—which means that the Israelites are free from the shackles of the law, and have entered a new era.
The Lord Jesus said: “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. … Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled” (Matthew 5:3, 6). “Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21).
