As a result, they spread the gospel to Xinguang and read God’s words to him. They prayed to God and asked Him to save their son and help him break his internet addiction. … After a fight, Xinguang started praying to God and relying on God. Under the guidance of God’s words, he eventually broke his internet addiction and freed himself from Satan’s corruption and affliction. This son who had been hopelessly lost in internet games and adrift on the internet finally came home!

If it weren’t for God saving me, as described in the hymn, I might still be wandering aimlessly in the world, tiring myself out chasing after money, even to the point that I would long since have lost my life and died abroad in a foreign land …

Why does God have to judge and chastise people?

　　Before man was redeemed, many of Satan’s poisons were already planted within him. After thousands of years of Satan’s corruption, man already has within him a nature that resists God. Therefore, when man has been redeemed, it is nothing more than redemption, where man is bought at a high price, but the poisonous nature within has not been eliminated. Man that is so defiled must undergo a change before being worthy to serve God. Through this work of judgment and chastisement, man will fully come to know the filthy and corrupt substance within him, and he will be able to completely change and become clean. Only in this way can man be worthy to return before the throne of God.
